When a small idea becomes a BIG reality!
Today was a #FullCircleMoment for me to watch nine youth with lived experience in foster care attend Day 2 of the @tradereadyyouth workshop at the @LiUNACanada Local 625 Training Centre in Windsor.
Yesterday, they earned their Working at Heights certification. Today, they dove deeper into discovering the incredible opportunities waiting for them in the skilled trades!
A huge thank you to the amazing team at #LIUNA625 for your support, training, and that delicious BBQ lunch 🌭🔥
Follow @ChildWelfarePAC & @tradereadyyouth to keep up with the work we’re doing to support current and former foster care youth! 👋🏽

Meet Kasey.
Like a lot of people, Kasey struggled to find a job that was right for him until he found the skilled trades. Now, he’s working towards a good-paying career, with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills along the way.
Kacey’s story is one of many examples why our government is investing in the skilled trades, to help people all over Ontario find better jobs and bigger paycheques in the careers of the future.
