After the repeated failure of N.Biren Singh lead BJP Govt in recovering the looted gun & ammunition on 3rd & 4th May 2023, another looting occurs on 28th & 29th May 2023, in the following locations.

4. Yairipok PS, Thoubal

It can be concluded that the same personnel mostly belonging to Valley extremist outfit groups (Arambai Tengol, Meitei Leepun, and Salaicha Pibarel Punshi Marup) who have carried out the same looting previously, are involved again this time.

It is very surprising to see the Meitei Govt led by Biren is not taking any precedence for recovering these sophisticated arms & ammunition. It is now becoming more evident that extremist groups and Meitei civilians are given free hands to do about their wishes.

No wonder the state media and news outlets are purposely ordered to focus on Hill Areas as a way to divert attention, rather than focusing on the actual issues at hand.

He has repeatedly ordered the Manipur Commando/IRB to attack the foothill Villages of Manipur for last 10days, which were guarded by villagers themselves.

After a continuous attempt of attacks and failure, he approved the use of ML 3-inc mortar, grenade bomb and Sniper Rifles on 27/28 May 2023, leading to the dead of many villagers.

The most recent arrest made by BSF Jawan which became viral shows the 5 personnel were indeed a village volunteer with 5 gun which were of license and homemade.

As all his previous narratives (Illegal immigrant, Poppy planters, etc.) had failed to justify his action, his last triumph card was therefore concocted.

One may wonder about the sudden shift of blame towards Kuki SSO Militants as Terrorist organizations.
In truth, this is his final triumph card!

It became evident that, with the arrival of Amitshah(Home Minister of India) on 29th May 2023, topped with the recent looting of Arms, and complete failure of his Govt to bring normalcy in last 26 days, Biren needs to find a scapegoat and the Kuki Militants under SOO fit these criteria to run his final narratives.

The Central Govt must take heed on the concocted web of lies created in the unfolding events before making any judgement.

As the Hilly Kuki Tribals populace and Valley Meitei are now distinctly separated, the amicable solution is to setup separate Permanent Political Administration, under the purview of Indian Constitution. This will be a win-win for both communities and the Meitei can go about their ST demand without any opposition from the Kuki or Tribal populace.

I want to address the concerning behavior of CM Biren Singh, who has been engaging in the dissemination of false propaganda since the onset of violence in the region. It is disheartening to witness the repeated use of hate speeches by CM Biren Singh, particularly targeting the Zomi-Kuki community. False accusations of being illegal immigrants and poppy planters have been followed by labeling us as terrorists.

Expressing serious concern over the recent violence in Manipur, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk has urged Indian authorities to take urgent steps, including an investigation, and address the root causes of the violence in line with their international human rights obligations.

The UN High Commissioner was speaking at a press conference held at the UN in Geneva on Wednesday (May 24), during which he mentioned the unrest in Manipur.

“The recent violence in Manipur, Northeast India, revealed the underlying tensions between different ethnic and indigenous groups. I urge the authorities to respond to the situation quickly, including by investigating and addressing the root causes of the violence in line with their international human rights obligations," Türk said.
