Extra time is boring. The focus shifts to “not conceding” rather than “scoring”, which makes the football more passive. The golden goal rule may have felt a bit unfair at times, but it was exciting, at the very least.
I was surprised to see this in a village in Sonari, Assam. But listening to him it feels like the growth of the sport is real and there are people working hard behind the scenes.
🚨🇬🇭 Ghanaian spiritualist Kwaku Bonsam has made another bold World Cup prediction. 👀
🗣️ "This World Cup is for Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal. I have seen it clearly."
He claims Portugal have already won the tournament in the spiritual realm and says Cristiano Ronaldo should relax because his moment has finally arrived. According to him, Ronaldo will lift the World Cup trophy in just a few days.
Bonsam also predicted that Harry Kane and England will fall short once again, insisting the trophy is destined for Portugal. 🤯
Why would the government and its minions push a fake narrative about why Japan's PM's expected visit to Guwahati was cancelled? What purpose would that serve?
@VedBorah Bhuyan putra probably doesn’t know that most regional offices of companies operating in North East is still located in Kolkata. Even Startup Assam is controlled by Kolkata. Didn’t the WB CM said that he will follow the footsteps of HBS, then why are we concerned?
It is deeply concerning to see sections of the local media are circulating claims that the likely cancellation of the Japanese Prime Minister’s Guwahati visit was due to “security concerns”, without placing any official confirmation, security advisory, or credible diplomatic source to support such a serious assertion.
As of now, national media reports have attributed that the likely shift of the India–Japan summit from Guwahati to New Delhi is linked to logistical constraints, the tight schedule of the visiting Japanese delegation, and the ongoing parliamentary session in Japan. If that is the information currently available from credible national sources, then it is unfair and irresponsible for local media to present an unverified local theory as the main reason behind such an important diplomatic decision.
This is not just merely a question of one news angle versus another. It is about responsible journalism. Matters involving diplomatic visits, international relations, and Assam’s public image should not be turned into sensational headlines without evidence. If any media organisation has concrete proof, official security inputs, or on-record confirmation linking the venue change, it should place that information in the public domain.
Assam and Guwahati deserve responsible journalism. At a time when trust in the media is already under strain, reporting on such a sensitive issue should be guided by verification, balance, and accountability rather than by the urge to create a dramatic narrative around an already sensitive public issue.
I therefore urge all media organisations reporting this issue to clearly distinguish verified facts from assumptions and speculation, and to report with the seriousness that a matter of diplomatic significance deserves.
Curacao will make their FIFA WC debut against the mighty Germans tonight. Good time to remind us that their population is around 1.5 lakhs i.e roughly 15% of Sivasagar.
Now few BJP puppets of TADC, TAYPA, ATASU etc.. in Facebook and press conference make this a controversy and start licking the boots of their North Indian Sanatani masters but I as a common Ahom citizen stand by him, he said what so called Ahom leaders should have.
