On August 15th, the New Zealand–Europol Agreement entered into application.

The Agreement will enable greater cooperation between New Zealand and EU law enforcement agencies. We will be able to share more information and respond better to transnational organised crime, drug trafficking, money laundering, child sexual exploitation, cybercrime, violent extremism, and terrorism. It reflects our shared commitment to justice, the rule of law, and respect for human rights, and supports the delivery of the Government’s Transnational Organised Crime Strategy and broader goals around reducing violent crime 🇳🇿🤝🇪🇺⚖️👮‍♀️
