@thomasmahler you plan on enabling that class exploration through gameplay, whilst poe was build around game knowledge and then 'menus' to appropriately apply meta progression (which comes from gameplay). If you are able to pull off organic, gameplay based, class/build exploration - kudos.
@thomasmahler mechanics you are able to access depends on a great deal of things, the amalgamation of them forms what I would describe as the 'class'.
What you describe for wicked, is a similar level of freedom when it comes accessing and combining 'class' based mechanics. However -
@thomasmahler@CynicFinn@waaagh_enjoyer When you say, "it doesn't matter how they get there", in reference to PoE1 builds - what do you mean? Those of us who love poe, play specifically for the "how you get there". I seek the how in every ARPG I play, I do hope your system accounts for that.
@thomasmahler@CynicFinn@waaagh_enjoyer What initially concerns me, as someone who wants to play your game, with this description of the new system - players like to feel as though they're making important decisions. They can be real choices, or illusionary, but choice feels good. It provides ownership over success.
@deyxo__ Nah facts, creators are doing so much work for EA. Auzio store ripping vids probably bring in a measureable amount of activity to the store
Ea, the game, the community, its deteriorated. It’s sad coz we’re all nostalgic for the old days and still want a football game
@LilywhiteLab Between udogie that isn’t consistently fit and Souza who is a kid and new, I think rotating Robertson into that is a decent call.
Let him teach those lads some things as he ages out, robos got good games left in him. We don’t have to whinge about everything
@InvertTheWing It has been rough on him, he has a certain tenacity and directness that we really need sometimes. However, Kobbie had it worse, is a better player, and handled it more professionally (unless you think Kobbie had something to do with his brother's shirt).
@NLAHamilton Bergvall clearly had to go off, and if you've been paying attention we've got no fit midfielders. There was still plenty of time left in the game, throwing a kid into the middle with so much on the line is crazy. Porro did well enough, and Byfield was good at RB.
@NLAHamilton So much yapping without any nouse. Byfield is probably the most ready academy kid we have in terms of physicality, ability, calmness. He can play any position in the backline, not just centrally.
@sufferingspurs This is a very weak point in the argument against Frank. I'm far from Frank's biggest fan, but there isn't a great deal to critique from the game. Barely had 11 players and coming off a dreadful game, he did well to get the lads playing for him.
@SonsofAngerchy @InvertTheWing Odobert can dribble with his left foot which allows him to square up his defender more effectively whilst out on the right
Spence and porro would want the same spaces
@SpursOfficial every single stakeholder of the club is miserable - coach, players, fans, even the board you’d think. Figure something out, this mood is utterly unsustainable.
Relegation is a genuine threat. Read that again.
