I have a question, maybe one that will make some of us uncomfortable

Why do parents force their daughters to return to abusive, violent and unhappy marriages? Why is there such a fixation on girls getting married to begin with ? And then on remaining married at any cost?

Why do parents- at least those with wealth and well being- agree to provide cars, cash and gold to 'buy' happiness for their daughters?

When will we stop making marriage the primary goal for women. Frankly, the search for a suitable boy, is no longer the book i want to read.
