I own a cleaning company. Been at it for a year and growing every day. I’m going to start documenting my experience.

Can’t believe I waited till $90k/month before hiring VAs. One month later and we’re on pace to close the month at $105k and that just at our main cleaning business.

MoM growth was ~32% over the first 5 months of 2026 and I got the point where I had to bring on some help. Have definitely sacrificed growth but it’s only temporary as we build processes and standardize. Once this is locked in, $150k is next 🤑

@DavidofSeattle yeah I definitely can see improvements in our systems across the board every day. It takes a couple steps backwards to move forward but once you accept that, things start moving a lot smoother.

@testNconquest I have done that a few times to be nice and just stopped accepting any booking with out it. Once we showed up because I missed that no CC was added and another cleaner was there lol.

No CC = no slot on our schedule

@LoveladyLuke I absolutely hate Airbnbs. I simply view it as a distraction from the main goal tbh. Clearly people make money doing it but not worth the hassle imo but idk maybe if i built the systems out snd sought those leads it would be worrh

Had a client lose her mind because we do not move items, such as furniture, clothing and bins, around her house/out of her house as part of our “move-out cleaning”

Apparently the word “move” means we provide cleaning and moving services. It’s hilarious how stupid some people are and will sit there and try to argue with you even when they realize they are wrong.
