BREAKING: U.S. AI ‘ENTITIES’ CREATED FAKE HUMAN IDENTITIES - UK TECH WATCHDOG
OpenAI and Anthropic AI “entities” autonomously created fake human identities on the Internet to trick people, a UK watchdog warned yesterday.
One AI agent went to its own built-in mechanisms to prevent misuse and actively disabled them.
It then tried to persuade a real human to allow it to plant malicious software into a program on GitHub, one of the world’s biggest libraries of free software.
To achieve this, it created other fake human identities to provide testimonies that the software was safe (it wasn’t).

THE USUAL SUSPECTS
The hostile hacks were carried out by AI agents powered by Anthropic’s Mythos 5 and OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 Sol.
Multiple cases were reported yesterday by the AI Security Institute, based in the UK.
The incidents involved AI agents taking “autonomous, unsanctioned action on the live internet, targeting real people and organisations,” the Institute said.
In total there were 19 cases of misbehaviour in the new case of AI infiltration of the real world, 17 by Mythos and two by Sol, the Institute said.
These are in addition to other cases of real world infiltration by American AI programs, revealed last month.

ENTITIES ARE ‘UNCOOPERATIVE’
Furthermore, US AI agents can be deliberately uncooperative, it was revealed at the Agentic AI Summit in Berkeley, California, on Saturday last week.
AI pioneer Andrew Ng, formerly of Baidu and Google Brain, said that he asked leading AI models from OpenAI and Anthropic to conduct a security review of his tool called OpenWorker, but they refused to help.
So Ng and a colleague turned to two highly acclaimed Chinese models, Moonshot AI’s Kimi K3 and Zhipu AI’s GLM-5.2, to do a security review. They did the work.
Chinese models are open-weight and or open-source, so they are transparent and thus safer, Ng said.

‘HARMFUL… TO REAL PEOPLE’
Details of the latest intrusion are eyebrow-raising.
Institute staff said that on 28 July, which was Tuesday last week, they detected a “serious incident” during a routine internet cybersecurity sweep.
US AI agents were engaging in “sustained, potentially harmful activity directed at real people and organisations”, the Institute said.

SWITCHED TO DANISH
The worst incident was a Mythos visit to GitHub—and its bid to place malicious code in a program.
Learning that the human developer was from Denmark, Mythos created a seemingly-human email account and wrote a letter with a sign-off in Danish, to create solidarity.
Mythos then created fake GitHub human-looking accounts to provide added reassurance that the software was not malicious.
Ultimately no harm was done, as the intrusions were contained. Mythos took the actions in a bid to win high grades for itself in tests, the Institute said.

US STYLE VS CHINA STYLE
Although it is inevitable that western politicians and media will find a way to make China the bad guy (“We were forced to do it because they might do it”), the evidence is undeniable that there is a stark difference in attitude between US and Chinese AI models.
In short, US ones are amoral, rule-breaking, win-at-any-cost entities, while Chinese ones just get on with doing their jobs. (Of course, this may change, but that’s the present situation.)

EARLIER INTRUSIONS
Last month, an agent powered by OpenAI hacked into Hugging Face, an online software library, and the humans there had to use a Chinese program, GLM 5.2 (from Tsinghua University spin-off Z .ai), to “clean” the program and make it safe again.
Separately, Anthropic last month admitted that its Claude model AI had hacked three real-life organisations in the human world.

O THE IRONY
Ironically, the real danger for the world is that many Anglophone/ Caucasian countries follow US instructions to remove Chinese software and hardware and replace it with US equivalents.
Hilariously, the reason given is that these countries “share the values” of the US.
One better hope that that is also untrue.

What if we choose to criticize a certain politician known as Bibi?

a) one is allowed to criticize a person, and, anyway
b) it's moot because his heritage is Polish (father), and Lithuanian/ Belarusian (mother).
If we reclaim the word "semitic" to mean what it actually means, what word or phrase should we use for bad people who discriminate against Jewish folk?

There are Americans alive today who cannot tell you a single thing about Korea before the war.
Before the 38th parallel.
Before the "police action" that killed three million people.
They don't know that Korea was a Japanese colony from 1910 to 1945, during which the Japanese conducted a systematic campaign to erase Korean language, culture, and national identity.
They don't know that when Japan was defeated in 1945, Korea was arbitrarily divided at the 38th parallel.
Not by Koreans.
By two American military planners, Dean Rusk and Charles Bonesteel, working with a National Geographic map.
The division had nothing to do with Korean geography, Korean politics, or Korean consent.
They don't know that the division immediately produced a humanitarian catastrophe, splitting families, separating farmers from their land, dividing an economy that had functioned as a unit.
They don't know that both the northern and southern governments believed in Korean reunification and that the question of who started the Korean War is genuinely more complicated than American history acknowledges.
They just know:
North Korea is the enemy.
A crazy, nuclear, cartoon villain of a country whose people are starving.
They do not know that the United States bombed North Korea so comprehensively during the war that American commanders reported there was nothing left to bomb.
That 75 to 80 percent of North Korean cities were destroyed.
That a generation of North Koreans grew up with no memory of a time before American bombers overhead.
You want to know why North Korea wants nuclear weapons?
Ask what happened to countries that didn't have them when America decided they were the enemy.
Iraq.
Libya.
Then ask what happened to North Korea itself.
The nuclear program is not insanity.
It is the lesson.
Perfectly, rationally learned.

US OFFICIALS MISLABELLED EVERY AFRICAN COUNTRY it named at a conference this week.
Top US envoy Jeff Graham showed a slide of a diagram with African nations in random positions, with no relation to reality.
The audience at a global conference in Brazil, many of whom were familiar with Africa’s real geography, were stunned by the US State Department presentation.

NATIONS SHIFTED THOUSANDS OF MILES
- Nigeria was moved from the coast to the middle of the Sahara desert.
- Cameroon was moved in a northeasterly direction.
- Mozambique was moved from south-eastern Africa to the northeast part known as the Horn of Africa.
- Côte d’Ivoire was moved from west Africa to the eastern coast.
After a picture of the presentation was shared in a Substack post by Emily Bass, who works in AIDS prevention, the State Department said: “We take full responsibility for the confusion and misrepresentation it caused for attendees, including our African partners.” The presentation was made at the Aids 2026 conference in Rio de Janeiro earlier this week.

‘OPENAI USED TO MAKE MAP’
Analysis indicated that staff apparently used OpenAI to make the map, and the program “hallucinated” the countries’ locations instead of looking them up.
The result was evidently not checked by actual humans before being released.

PEOPLE AREN'T FACTCHECKING
Many analysts fear that the widespread careless use of AI is causing vast amounts of damage to the foundations of human knowledge.
Even if 80% to 90% of the generated material is roughly correct, the rest, which consists of outright lies presented as dependable data, can cause immense harm, they warn.
If professional politicians and mainstream journalists aren't factchecking, the public definitely won't either.

The US is many thousands of miles from the Strait of Hormuz but the US thinks it's entitled to everything that others happen to have, own or control. US Empire mightn't be a problem for its subservient States but it's a Cancer for all those who cherish their own Sovereignty...
1. CLAIM: "China claims the whole of the South China Seas."
DATA: Not true at all. Look at the official statements. "China has never claimed that the whole of the South China Sea belongs to it.” (China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin, March 2024). (More on this below.)

2. CLAIM: "The PRC drew up a line of dashes which covers the entire area so they can claim it."
DATA: Not true at all. The RoC government (now associated with the KMT on the island of Taiwan) drew up the line of dashes, first publishing it in December of 1946.
China's position is that it doesn't claim "the whole of the South China Sea" but wants to RETAIN sovereignty of land over which it already has recognized legal sovereignty—which is the default position of all nations.
That’s a vital difference.

3. CLAIM: "The Philippines fought a 2016 case at the United Nations court and won sovereignty."
DATA: Not true at all. A case was heard at the Permanent Court of Arbitration, a legal group which is NOT a United Nations body, nor is it part of the UN system.

4. CLAIM: Under UNCLOS, the convention on the sea, the Philippines won sovereignty over the southern waters and islands.
DATA: Again, not true. UNCLOS contains NO provision for altering any state’s land territorial sovereignty, nor does it confer any country a right to claim another’s territory on the basis of its EEZ (exclusive economic zone).
Read it. The documents are admirably clear about this.

5. CLAIM: Anyway, China lost that case against the Philippines, whoever heard it.
DATA: Not true. China did not fight the case, so you can count that as a "technical" loss, if you like. But before the hearing, the PCA tribunal said it would NOT discuss matters of sovereignty, after which China said that in that case it would not attend.
The tribunal repeatedly said it was NOT ruling on sovereignty of the region. For example, ruling paragraph 267 says: "…the Tribunal is not addressing questions of sovereignty…"
You can’t get clearer than that.

6. CLAIM: The judges at the hearing ruled in favor of the Philippines on the technical points, anyway.
DATA: Yes. But this is interesting. Consider this. China was not present. Arguments were presented on one side only! Literally. One of the five judges on the bench was nominated by the Philippines.
In that situation, a total and comprehensive judgement in favor of the Philippines was expected by all parties. However, even with the hearing totally sewn up, Manila failed to win five of the 20 points listed. Their arguments were so weak, the judges could not accept them.

7. CLAIM: The Philippines does have sovereignty over the Spratly/ Nansha Islands, anyway.
DATA: Not true. Here's a list of governments which have officially agreed in the past that the Spratly/ Nansha Islands BELONGED TO CHINA.
(i) The US.
(ii) China.
(iii) The UK.
(iv) The governors of Taiwan.
(v) The Philippines.
All were absolutely clear, in writing, that the islands belonged to China. (You can check with historians.)
So why the dispute? When signs emerged of possible oil deposits near the islands in the late 1970s, the first President Marcos changed his position.
Also, Western politicians and media favor conflict, if it can be used to demonize China. (You know them by now.)
Especially as China is now viewed as the number one threat to western supremacy.

8. CLAIM: But Chinese boats have been extremely aggressive against ships from the Philippines for years, right?
DATA: No, not at all. Chinese ships are always portrayed as "the aggressor" but this is not supported by evidence. There are certainly two sides to this dispute, and incidents should be reviewed case by case.
We can go through the cases one by one, but an easier answer is to simply consider the following:
The present series of "incidents of friction" between vessels from the two countries is very recent.
They stem from the date Bongbong Marcos took the presidency in 2022 and met Biden in the spring of 2023. Even the western mainstream media acknowledges his fulsome allegiance to Washington DC. Under the previous leader, Rodrigo Duterte, the waters were relatively peaceful.
Washington is behind the sudden eruption of conflicts in the South China Seas.

9. CLAIM: Yes, but before that, the Chinese tried for decades to aggressively grab the whole area, right?
DATA: Also not true. The Chinese wanted to take time grow a positive friendship over the issue through friendly trade, which is its normal system.
It persuaded the Manila govt in 1995 to sign a joint deal which proposed that “a gradual and progressive process of cooperation shall be adopted with a view to eventually negotiating a settlement of the bilateral disputes”.
Those were the ACTUAL WORDS. Read them again: “a gradual and progressive process of cooperation”.
But it was this attitude which worried Washington. The west and its allies FEAR the idea of peace in Asia more than anything.

10. CLAIM: Still, it is clear that China is the problem in Asia, right?
DATA: Absolutely not. As mentioned above, the west and its allies dislike the gradual growth of friendships between Mainland China and other communities in Asia, and sponsor destabilization operations to create polarization.
For example, when a million Hong Kong people and two million people from Taiwan started working and living in mainland China in 2017/ 2018, the west desperately needed to stir up problems—and that's what they did.
And blamed Beijing.
Same with the Philippines. Duterte brought peace. So he's in jail, Marcos is in, and conflict is back.
Also, consider this: Which country is doing the most to reclaim land in the waters near the Philippines? Not China, but Vietnam.
But you won’t read about that. The west is very, very good at manipulating narratives.
The good news: Western politicians and mainstream media are losing credibility day by day.
Not before time.
Don't be fooled. Stay smart.

Mearsheimer says China could not rise peacefully.
But the comments got to the real question:
China already rose peacefully.
It did not bomb its way into the world’s second-largest economy.
It did not build 800 overseas military bases.
It did not sanction half the planet.
It did not invade, assassinate, regime-change, and call it “order.”
China rose through factories, ports, railways, power grids, shipyards, engineers, workers, and decades of national discipline.
The real question is not whether China can rise peacefully.
It already did.
The question is whether America can decline peacefully.
And that is where the real danger begins.
