@fokango I gather that the definition of “experience” by these old guys is people who can squeeze the system dry with their cartels, most of them are functional illiterates who have been in government for the longest but no credible track record.
This will the first time in Kenyan history that actual people centric leaders will be on the ballot, with the likes of Maraga and Sifuna, kenya will be a first world country in a few years with this kind of leadership, this cartel style ruling will be over with.
@FaithOdhiambo8 If there’s one woman I can vote for president, it is Faith Odhiambo, I’m excited to see you joining Linda Mwananchi, to set a precedence for people centric leadership.
@iQwatson I believe it’s illiteracy and sticking to traditional ideologies that still drag these countries behind, if people embraces education, especially self education where reading books becomes a habit, changes will definitely be seen among that generation.
@elnathan_john Like the way Obi Okonkwo in Chinua Chebe’s “no longer at ease” was eventually corrupted though he had good intentions in the first place, your tribal people feel like its your obligation to favor them in all matters. I’m Kenyan and it is a similar script running over here.
One of the pillars of developed nations is that vices like corruption are not incentivized like it is the case in Kenya, fraud cases and mismanagement of taxpayer money are handled with seriousness and the perpetrators do not get an easy way out, we need stricter laws.
@_fels1 I see some people calling it “jealousy” but corruption is a really massive problem in the country, strict laws should be set up against it, alot of money that would have been of benefit to the society at large end up in individual pockets. 99.9% of institution reek corruption.
@Kenyans This ebola thing is really suspicious, i’m starting to believe it’s just a bioweapon used as a smokescreen to extract resources from DRC and maybe also Kenya, because, why are the Americans still in Congo if Ebola is so dangerous? They would have been extracted from there by now.
It is sad that Ruto is only pushed to the wall to speak on the US -Kenya Ebola deal when confronted by a SA reporter in SA soil, he has never bothered to make it clear to Kenyans, even his replies are just clear lies to dilute the severity of the situation.
@Hon_Njeri_Maina So we should just bow sown to the oppressor? Are you seeing how the president openly disregards court orders? The guy simply doesn’t care about the rule of law, he doesn’t even have the decency to address the matter publicly, not my president!
