Mass extinction media won't explain why we will hit 2/2.5°C by or before 2040-41. They are part of the state-corporate doom machine and don't want you researching clouds, aerosols, and climate sensitivity. Time to rethink to protect species and everyone.

As scientists around the world sound the alarm about the possibility of a global, deadly #AvianFlu pandemic, they consistently fail to recommend one strategy that could drastically reduce the risk -- eliminating the dystopian factory farms where the #H5N1 virus can easily spread and mutate into a strain that can be transmitted among humans.
Factory farms (and slaughterhouses) are a scourge - destructive to our health, the planet and the animals. That is why scientists, #PublicHealth officials and world leaders should be promoting a mass transition to #plantbased food systems. And everyone knows it.

Hi @shivalibest, unfortunately global heating of 3.1C will not be just twice as bad as 1.5C; it will be many many times worse.
The damage is non-linear.
"Altering our diet once more is something we actually can do—not only mitigating the ruination of the world that sustains our existence, but reimagining our relationship to that world and to the living creatures, human and nonhuman alike, with whom we’re privileged to share it."
A blind spot in the environmental movement has been the production + consumption of meat. If we want to solve climate change—and a whole host of global issues—we need to talk about #MeatToo.

@UPS I spent 4 hours on hold with y’all to update our credit card for brokerage fees, even though we already changed it on your website. And then you hung up on me. Why do you make it so hard for us to pay you??? I’ve now spent 6 hours total on hold. Terrible service.
Chicken industry: “plant-based chicken” labels confuse consumers who will assume they’re eating chicken from an animal.
Also the chicken industry:“boneless chicken wings” that may contain bones or not be from wings don’t confuse consumers.
Soy does not give men boobs. Not being active and eating junk food does. ✅
If soy made people’s tits bigger, it would be the number one selling food in the world. 😅
We often forget how little most people know about the cruelty on factory farms. This new investigation recorded standard pig industry practices, yet the most upvoted comments show shock and anger. (Even from "RightWingTed"!)
This is why the meat industry hates undercover investigations so much. Their business model relies on keeping consumers in the dark.
