This morning, while interrogating myself, I found that I have never approached any lady with the intention of sleeping with her and then used the guise of a relationship to conceal what it was I truly wanted. That is quite a crude thing to do anyway given that she is not a prostitute.
Not that a relationship was the first thing I approached women for. I mean, who meets a woman for the first time, knows absolutely nothing about her and immediately wants a relationship? The point is that whatever the approach was, it was never rooted in deceit. It was always, let’s see where this leads, with honesty.
And if it happened to be a case of direct sexual interest, especially after getting to know the person and realizing that beyond physical attraction there was very little else drawing me to her, then that too was direct. No disguises. No relationship used as bait. No elaborate performance intended to secure a result that honesty could not.
I have found that many men do not possess this courage. They do not have the courage to state honestly what they want and then accept whatever consequences follow from that admission. Perhaps that is why subterfuge has become so common. Perhaps that is why so many women have come to see men as deceivers. A person repeatedly lied to eventually stops treating deception as an exception and begins treating it as the rule.
Sometimes I wonder what would happen if men were simply honest from the outset. Not brutally honest in the way people often use honesty as an excuse for cruelty, but honest about intention. Honest about desire. Honest about what exactly they are seeking. I suspect we would see far fewer accusations of manipulation and perhaps even a dramatic reduction in what we now call relationship heartbreaks. After all, many heartbreaks are not born from love ending. They are born from discovering that love was never what was being offered in the first place.
You can mock Nigerian girls all you want for lacking communication skills, but the truth is that Nigerian society is generally hostile to honest conversation.
The more Nigerians you deal with, the more you notice a pattern: people avoid saying things directly. They deflect, suppress, and sidestep difficult discussions until, seemingly out of nowhere, there's an emotional outburst.
Many of our siblings, parents, lecturers, bosses, and peers exhibit this trait to varying degrees: avoid, deflect, avoid—then suddenly, get mad.
After careful consideration and extensive internal review, I would like to officially announce my retirement as a ManCity fan. My journey with City began 10 years ago out of deep admiration for the tactical genius of Pep, a man who revolutionized English football. Unfortunately, with his imminent departure, the emotional and spiritual foundation of my support has been fundamentally shaken.
I will now be returning full time to my roots as a proud FC Barcelona fan where my loyalty remains unquestioned.
In the meantime, I will be closely monitoring Pep’s next move and reserve the right to support the next club he signs for.
I ask for privacy this transition period as I reassess my footballing royalty.
Thank you for the memories @ManCity 🩵
Do you know how braindead you have to be ?
To believe that a Pastor used prayers to repair fan/fridge/microwave ?
It didn’t make you think the Pastor is even an idiot, it didn’t make you realize the Pastor is mocking God, it didn’t make realize it wasn’t God that called that fellow
You still go to that person for prayers, join his nonsense where he cries every morning ?
You don’t deserve to exist alongside humans with brains.
91 goals scored and a 90+ point season with Raphinha only starting 17/35 league games, Yamal starting 26/35 league games and Lewandowski declining, is a massive over-performance from Flick.
He has the best attacking system in the world with how he generates chances from high pressing & build-up patterns that drag defenders out then invade the space created.
@Row_Haastrup@TrendingEx@RuthieofBuj1 Lol. I don't believe this. If out of more than 200 million people they can't get fill up 500 vacancies, he should fire his entire HR team.
Do you realize how much raw mineral resources a developed country like the USA needs to function effectively? Now imagine if they had to buy all of them at full market value, it would be extremely expensive. That creates incentives to source from unstable countries where resources are sold for dirt cheap because the economies are weak and they can’t fully utilize them yet. Plus their currency value is so low that it’s literally like getting it for free. Now do you think it is in their best interest to bring peace to these countries?
