She’s the storyteller of our lifetime. What a joy it is to experience her words and the community they foster. In honor of Taylor being inducted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame, tell us your #FavoriteTaylorSwiftSong. 🫶
And watch more of the magic she makes in “The End of an Era” 6-episode docuseries on @DisneyPlus.
@Gigi_chienergy There is a facility currently being constructed in South Texas that will release sterile screwworms. I’m not a Trump fan in the slightest. Just offering information.
We are 97 days away from Alabama Football!
Here’s Bryce Young going 97-yards in the 2021 Iron Bowl & creating the "Disaster on the Pasture".
Feel free to watch too, Auburn Fans.
We have a lot of momentum after last week’s primary victory. We can win again this fall folks, just like my friend Gov. Andy Beshear wins in Kentucky. Thanks Andy, for believing in what we are building in Alabama. Oh, and remember - we’ve won statewide in Alabama before!
I love how Taylor was getting ready to act like she was on screen at a Grammys award show and then it just turned into a Travis chug. 😂. What a strange but weirdly perfect odd couple
@freedumbloving@spann He’s just ignorant. Far too young to remember when we couldn’t look to social media for life threatening weather alerts. This is coming from someone who is a survivor of a natural disaster in @spann ‘s home state. Trust science. Trust our meteorologist.
“There is a crime here that goes beyond denunciation. There is a sorrow here that weeping cannot symbolize. There is a failure here that topples all our success. The fertile earth, the straight tree rows, the sturdy trunks, and the ripe fruit. And children dying of pellagra must die because a profit cannot be taken from an orange. And coroners must fill in the certificate- died of malnutrition- because the food must rot, must be forced to rot. The people come with nets to fish for potatoes in the river, and the guards hold them back; they come in rattling cars to get the dumped oranges, but the kerosene is sprayed. And they stand still and watch the potatoes float by, listen to the screaming pigs being killed in a ditch and covered with quick-lime, watch the mountains of oranges slop down to a putrefying ooze; and in the eyes of the people there is the failure; and in the eyes of the hungry there is a growing wrath. In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage.”
I don't know that words will ever be able to adequately express how insane it feels to sit at a desk and respond to trivial emails while the President of the United States threatens to destroy an entire civilization.
An Oscar-nominated film is exposing an infuriating situation unfolding in my home-state of Alabama. "The Alabama Solution" provides a look inside the nation's deadliest prison system, told by the inmates themselves.
We ventured into the the city for Disney’s Broadway rendition of The Beauty and the Beast. Finished the night with Fogo de Chào. It was a good day @spann
Reporter: The Pope said, "God does not listen to the prayer of those who wage war." Can you comment on that?
Leavitt: Our nation was a nation founded 250 years ago almost on Judeo-Christian values. And we have seen presidents, the leaders of the department of war, and our troops go to prayer during the most turbulent times in our nations history and I don't think there is anything wrong with our military leaders or with the president calling on the American people to pray for our service members overseas. If you talk to many service members, they appreciate the prayers and support from the commander-in-chief and his cabinet.
