Can we (Christians) really ask the question “what is wrong with this world?” while never taking the Gospel message out of our sanctuaries? It’s imperative to share the Gospel to the same world we don’t always understand & let the power that lies within the message to do the work.
to the one freaking out about current circumstances: i get it. but if you could only see what God sees right now. how he’s gonna use this mess for greater things. how he’s gonna use you for greater things. how you’re gonna feel about this later in life. until then friend, trust.
Sooo, if anyone doesn’t have anything going on from Monday - Wednesday around 7 o’clock you should definitely come to Beulah Baptist for Revival this week! There is some great news that you would love to hear!!! #JesusSaves
i hope you rest in knowing Jesus didn’t die for a perfect you. he died for the you who makes the mistakes, who screws up often & runs away sometimes. he died for the messy/hits rock bottom version of you. cuz he saw all that you would be and still said “i want that one.”
I took a two hour nap with my nieces today and then drank a cup of coffee at 5 tonight.... It’s 1 am and my first alarm goes off at 5:45. yayyyy🤗☺️😒 #bigmistake
This is how you know what your god really is; this is how you know what’s really the treasure of your heart. What is it that you wouldn’t give up for Jesus? You’d give up everything in the world but this one thing. Well, that’s what you worship. The Imperfect Disciple, pg. 187.
if solomon’s life in the bible teaches me anything it’s that you can literally have everything in the world, and if it’s not Jesus, it will still never be enough.
I have been saved since I was 10 years old. 8 years later, I decided to take the next step of faith with the Lord and got baptized. Y’all, I have never felt so close to the Lord in my life. I want to encourage anyone out there that is feeling like “it’s not the right time”.
