@Aly_jezzini It’s a Vichy government trying to make sure its backers have the capacity to keep backing it. Only recourse is giving it the Vichy government punishment.
@dpinsen@911Truth4Adults@RWApodcast You’re quoting a pro-USA banker. Half his posts are bootlicking the Americans, the other half is pretending that he didn’t steal the people’s bank deposits.
@jknowassup@AnalyticaCamil1 Most likely warning shots to let evacuations take place first. The israelis would have carpet bombed the villages with everyone in them otherwise.
@matthew_petti Most likely hoping to jump on a ceasefire deal that stops the daily slaughter and occupation of the south. The previous situation was not sustainable, but i’m not sure if they have the means to carry out meaningful change now.
@ArmchairW Imagine your boss ordering you to kill people for the sake of Epstein’s employers. It’s either sabotage or the subsequent suicide from their guilty conscience.
@Aly_jezzini Would europeans even *want* to oppose Jolani? Creating an aggressive approach to the new government might kickstart a new wave of refugees and asylum seekers that they cant really deny. Euros might prefer the victims being simply massacred in their own country.
@Hezbolsonaro Jolani & co wouldn’t dare to advance without reaching an understanding with the Americans first. Not just because of possible bombings, but also because of sanctions. Americans are likely trying to abandon the kurds without tarnishing their PR too much.
@ambakialookal@KeyKashani@AliVaez Ansrallah seem to be open to discussion with the Saudis and have been for a while. Hezbollah might just do their own revolution in Lebanon to tear the taif agreement and integrate itself into the state. The Palestinians sadly cant do much regardless of any support.
@Hezbolsonaro Realistically speaking, how many of the arab SDF fighters would switch sides if given the chance? Eastern Syrian sunni arabs dont seem to have any problem with the new regime.
@thelateempire Could also be another war being prepared against iran, and the qataris might be looking for guarantees in case the iranians retaliate again al udaid.
@Aly_jezzini I dont doubt that MBS wants his people to be as amoral as himself. But regardless of the sectarian boomers and consumerist youths, 96% of them still believe that arabs should cut all ties with israel. It’s most likely just bots writing these comments.
