Meet the DSA Co-Chair Who Wants Small Grocery Stores to Go Out of Business

DSA co-chair Gustavo Gordillo went on Fox News to denounce the socialists' latest public enemy: Small grocery stores.

“If I publicly owned grocery store that brings prices down in the neighborhood is enough to put someone out of business then maybe they shouldn’t have been in that business in the first place.”

A bodega is a small grocery store, famous in New York, particularly in Latin American neighborhoods.

This comes after the DSA-backed Mayor Mamdani recently held an event at a Learing Center where a masked cat lady declared evictions were, literally, “violence.”

“The Mamdani administration is emboldening us so that we no longer tolerate the violence of evictions as a matter of business as usual. My landlord owns dozens of buildings, but he is not a steward of public trust. In fact, it is the opposite."

The DSA is running on an interesting platform: Ban private property, ban the police, Ban ICE, ban the Electoral College, ban freedom of speech, and now, ban small grocery stores.

These are the people taking over the Democratic Party. Wow.
