Here’s the deal: Romania’s presidential election was rolling along until the top court threw a curveball and canceled the results, citing alleged "Russian interference."

The shock court ruling came after a far-right NATO critic unexpectedly won the first round.

President Klaus Iohannis, who was supposed to step down, is now staying put until a redo, likely in March 2025.
