WA Police are about to give another update following the location of missing German 26y-o backpacker Carolina Wilga. They have now confirmed she was located 24km from her vehicle, on the edge of Mouroubra Rd in Bimbijy. @SBSNews #CarolinaWilga @WA_Police

- She spent 1 day with her van then in the wilderness for 11 nights afraid no one was going to find her
- Carolina used her knowledge of the sun to continue heading west
- WA police has described her 24km trek to end up at a main road as “sheer luck”
