On Sunday, September 18th, Anna, a wife, a mother and grandmother was killed in front of her daughter and three young grandchildren by a speeding driver on N. Marengo Ave. near Dearborn St. She died in front of her own home.
Weโre inspired by #CAleg's recent leadership on #ClimateAction + the tremendous public support for a more livable future. Decarbonizing the transportation sector - the #1 source of pollution - is our biggest challenge. We look forward to @GavinNewsom signing #AB2438 โก๏ธ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐
@gspeng Also, when the vast majority of decision makers only drive, no one even thinks about alternative modes or what students who aren't driven to school need.
@gspeng Believe me, I couldn't agree more. They should have been installed as part of the new campus from the get-go. But I'm still going to celebrate this win!
At the beginning of the school year there were no bike racks at my kids' school. A few students locked up to signs in the parking lot. Two weeks ago bike racks were installed. Yesterday there were TEN bikes locked up!

4) Ensures e-bike riders can use city bike paths
BREAKING! #AB1919 to create the California Student Transit Pass Pilot Program passes the #CALeg and goes to @CAgovernor for โ๏ธ! Thank you @ChrisHoldenNews for authoring this important legislation for #studentriders (and @AsmMikeFong for the pic!) and all the orgs that helped!
THANK YOU ALL FOR SUPPORTING AB 1919 TO MAKE TRANSIT FREE FOR ALL CA STUDENTS. The bill passed out of Senate Approps and has been sent to the Senate floorโnot put on suspense where we could have waited forever. Big win @ChrisHoldenNews & all our supporters incl. @CalTransit
Support the OmniBike Bill, #AB1909 by @laurafriedman43, which will require motorists to change lanes when passing bikes, if feasible. EMAIL YOUR SENATOR TODAY and tell them to vote YES on AB 1909 because bikes belong on California roads. https://t.co/OH8VSSASVF
Let's fix the streets and slow the cars. Two bad crashes (that I know of) in Pasadena yesterday. Pasadena Ave and Glenarm (again) and Fair Oaks and California. It has to stop, @PasadenaGov @PasadenaDOT
