The First Amendment is pretty clearly opposed to state actors punishing speech.

Here the governor a state actor is essentially directing another state actor (The Board of Regents) to fire a person for speech, which definitely abridges his right to free speech), which would violate the First Amendment.

Also that pesky First Amendment is pretty clear, regarding the government/the state (the Board of Regents (a state actor here)) infringing on free speech.

@0Obiewan2 @jasrifootball The only time clear path should be called in football is if someone comes off the sidelines. Here the dude was there to make the stop so not a clear path, committed a penalty and gave GB 1 and Goal from the 3 or 4 yd line, GB got stopped and got a FG.
