The current public health crisis is a disability rights issue.

This was a tough thing to write but it was cathartic.
Still processing and recovering.

I would love to follow more autistic people (and other NDs) in general, especially autists outside of Europe and North America. More non-white autists!
Any I can follow? And please, not just popular users! Just anyone who don't mind having more followers.
Okay, let’s talk about how a Nonspeaking Autistic writer, Gregory Tino, just published a children’s book called The Autistic Boy in The Unruly Body, and how it’s the #1 new release on Amazon’s “Autism and Asperger’s” category. But first, a #NeuroInclusive story about #Apraxia
Canada is facing a blood supply shortage right now. Please donate if you can! I did a few weeks ago but can’t again until the end of September! O+ and O- are most needed! #itsinyoutogive@CanadasLifeline
Cancer affects too many & those healing & fighting need platelets. Approx 50% of all platelet donations go to help patients. #itsinyoutogive & happy to help someone in need. To donate please go to @CanadasLifeline
Canada has only a few days’ each worth of O+ and O- blood in banks across the country at a time when the number of donors is at the lowest in a decade, says Canadian Blood Services.

🚨POST-COVID & Kids🚨
New @CDCgov report showing quite clearly that children are at significantly more risk for life-threatening diagnoses after COVID infection. Very convincing evidence that prevention of COVID-19 in children is very important to reduce childhood mortality.

@internetuserf12 I see no one wearing masks here in places. I guess people just don't care. Don't get it honestly. Why risk catching that stuff? I don't want a massive hospital bill or to get sick. I get stares and comments in places, but I don't care. They can think what they want.
@internetuserf12 Seriously…they thought covid isolation/quarantine period was bad…ugh…they just don’t care even more…guess we don’t have much we can do but brace ourselves as we speed head on..it’s going to be quite an impact 😩🫣
I like being around people who let me be me. someone I can sit in peaceful silence with, who won’t bat an eye when I hum a weird tune aloud or blurt out random questions. someone who listens intently when I’m rambling about a topic I love, even if they might not understand
