The stunning Rök runestone in Östergötland- the longest known runic inscription in stone. Dated to the 9th Century, this is apparently also regarded as the earliest piece of written Swedish literature. A whopping 8 feet tall, it weighs in at a little over 5 tons.

@jpmcdonough Hey Jim, thanks for giving a listen. The old Dublin parliament is now a Bank of Ireland just across the street from Trinity College. When that parliament was folded into the English one in 1801, Dublin contracted economically and really didn’t start growing again until the 1960s
