Passionate about public health, vaccines and equity of access to maternal healthcare for all women. A mother and proud Irish woman. All opinions are my own.

This is exactly what we need during these unprecedented times: collaboration. I’m proud of @MSDInvents for deploying its manufacturing capacity to supply vaccines & medicines to fight the #COVID19 pandemic.
This is one reason why the EU export authorisation scheme is so dangerous: if it triggers a response by others - either as retaliation or because the policy is being legitimised - the economic damage could run in the trillions.

Power to the activists who've spearheaded this change and persevered despite the challenges of the past 4 years. This is your victory ✊
We celebrate and recognise our activism cannot stop here. All over the world we must continue to stand up & speak out so #SheDecides.
I believe in the strength of US institutions and democracy. Peaceful transition of power is at the core. @JoeBiden won the election.
I look forward to working with him as the next President of the USA.
Shocking & deeply sad scenes in Washington DC - we must call this out for what it is: a deliberate assault on Democracy by a sitting President & his supporters, attempting to overturn a free & fair election! The world is watching!
We hope for restoration of calm.
Some positive news, even if there is still some way to go. Even in times of great uncertainty and deep worry there is reason to hope. Stay safe this week.

If and when we have an effective #COVID19 vaccine, we must also use it effectively.
I will repeat again: vaccine nationalism will prolong the pandemic, not shorten it.
Just out of our local Aldi here in Gorey. Lots of visitors down for the weekend, mostly from Dublin. Town is busier the I’ve seen it on many months - less than 10% of people in shops wearing masks. People clearly ignoring public health advice. As @sarahelaineIE said earlier:
.... and over 100% more likely to die due to complications of pregnancy and childbirth. Thank you @mariaaspan @TheBroadSheetCo for highlighting the impact of racial and gender inequality on the lives of Black women. https://t.co/qgbaHfTigD
