@tyrus_ I guess there is really no blueprint to it, I honestly think gradual but steady. You know the Chinese way of having the grand plan but do things piecemeal. Granted we do not have the kind of resources the powers that be possess but haba na haha:)
@tyrus_ Many of us who grew up in this town have lived most of our adult lives away from this gem, probably even had the privilege to travel. Constantly wonder what it would mean if we came together to change the face of our home town. Power in numbers
If you have a medical emergency during this curfew time in Kenya, try 0714911911-Rescue By Flare)(easy number to remember). Have called them to 3 situations and the response was within minutes.
@danaceda@SafaricomPLC In this day and age, data mining is inevitable. Question is how protected and private is that info. What are the accountability measures given to businesses to help protect the public? We have to realize the importance of ensuring we are protected by those we trust with our info
@danaceda@SafaricomPLC Nope, there are systems built in to a vendors transaction system that do that especially for card, money transfer and other online payment systems. Watu wagumu kupata ni watu wa cash coz their basic data is not captured.
@danaceda@SafaricomPLC It doesn't come from the Telco, the vendor has set up systems that helps then mine this info for themselves to help profile their customer. In marketing I suppose is what they call customer persona
@danaceda@SafaricomPLC Yeah, but they still need the data mined to profile their customers and grow revenue. It's what they (vendors or otherwise), do with that information that needs to be redefined.
@danaceda@SafaricomPLC They however need to give client opt in options for the annoying promo messages, which they of course know most of us would opt out of. Question is how do they keep us hooked without infringing on our privacy
