We desperately need the grid upgrades since they are a sticking point for de-carbonisation but where it hugely and disproportionately negatively impacts a few individuals we need sensible, sensitive and honest resolution.

Most common is that they go immediately past their rural homes, often very close and imposing. You might say get over it for the needs of the many but this has a huge impact on the value of their homes & = unfair burden

Today I stood in my daughter’s junior school playground at school pickup time in some of the heaviest torrential rain getting soaked along with all the other parents and wondering what the plans are for handover. Normally all the classes come out and assemble in rows

Not just a sense of relief but also a hint of a bit of faith in the rest of humanity restored.
