@keenyn7@MarkH_Photo The disproportionately in ranks is there broad daylight. The MPS still not listening to Baroness Casey report.
IF a PC did this they would get the sack.
As an ethnic minority officer, I do not feel safe with my employers and bosses.
@Protect_ServeUK Criminals in the justice system gets better care and protection than officers facing Gross Misconduct.
There needs to be an overhaul on the Police Regulations. It’s not good enough.
@AchingRat I know officers got the sack for speeding offences, I’m intrigued to see what the outcome would be for this. Let alone trying dodge legal prosecution 😱.
@__theskipper__ That’s all the public order offences thrown out.
“Sorry can’t arrest him because there’s no prison for them. We can only arrest on serious offences.”
At this point what is policing…
@__theskipper__ Are we really going to be picky and scrutinised over that… that second of him not pressing his body worn probably saved his life. No human thinks of pressing their body worn before defending their lives. It’s not natural human instinct.
Apparently we’re all should be robots.
@PC_Angry All it takes is one complaint or a hot shot social media hit and it’s game over. All those years of experience gone and face criminal conviction. Is it worth it? Hell no.
@BettyBoochichi2 IOPC has failed to give key evidence that could’ve prevented his death. These process give individuals undue stress and anxiety which gives them psychological impact in the long run.
How many more will die because of the system failing them?
@Brick_Cop@CollegeofPolice@PoliceChiefs@axon_enterprise Carry a taser to then make that split second decision and wait years for a gross misconduct and potentially face criminal charges? Nobody wants that.
I’d rather face a person with a knife using baton/pava knowing I won’t get scrutinised.
