@OLDFASHION64990@BBW_BFF Per @DamnFoolCrusade, that Image laserdisc at the top-left is the best transfer of the original audio currently available on home video (https://t.co/HleU5hIbRZ). Having recently tracked down a copy, I can say it sounds fantastic! If Arrow can have that too it’d be great!
@DamnFoolCrusade I had a nice fella sell me 95% of the original run for a cool $80 last year. The overall quality of the series is quite elevated. Glad you’ll get the chance to enjoy them. Your vids on the novel series have been very enjoyable!
@BBW_BFF Okay thanks! I recall that for the “restored director’s cut” DVD near the centre of my photo, Mann had added some extra scenes and padded out others using a VHS quality source. Perhaps its the same issue and there is still no quality source for the extra bits he wants to add.
@BBW_BFF Do you have any insider info on why the previously announced-as-upcoming (or maybe just rumoured) 4K release has been so slow to be released?
It’s such an incredible film! My collection:
@JoshDaws Sorry to hear that Josh. Why do you think the Hollywood Pictures film Blood in Blood Out has not been released on bluray? Did anyone at Disney care about films released on the Hollywood Pictures label?
@GenreManiac I see a lot of positive reviews on Instagram and Youtube. Having cleaned mould manually in the past, it takes forever. This is a great solution to save time. You can check out this Instagram account for examples: https://t.co/FgyIPnoVVY
