Another idea: A common issue in red states is Dems not running for local offices. If you or any of your friends are interested in school board or town clerk, Emerge and Run For Something train and mentor Dems. Running creates volunteer/voter/donor lists and gets out Dem message

@AutiLeven @bennessb I probably should have said--the confusion over the letter A was very brief, I thought it was an aura at first. But I started having difficulty writing papers, confusing basic homophones and losing weight I didn't have to lose. Everything came back after stopping the med.

@AutiLeven @bennessb I've been on it twice. In college I had to stop it due to weight loss and extreme memory issues (temporarily forgot what the letter "A" looked like). Now I can handle a low-dose, but I still have a lot of brain fog. It does help intractable migraines though

@STEM_Gal This situation was actually what I've been afraid of, a burst of energy/productiveness and then mental slips that can cause real harm. I am really glad you've found better ways to help. I hope your pain levels continue to drop. Sometime later, I'd love that list. Best.

@STEM_Gal You also improved my mental health. Energy is not a word that is often used to describe me and it made me realize that at this time last year I had a manic episode due to a medication. And it was expressed by over-texting. This is probably an echo. So thank you very very much.
