@SpuntatoFuori76 @GovernorHobbs Yes.... in response to the imposition of tariffs on automotives parts, steel, aluminum, and other tariff on Canadian imports, as well as threatining the sovereignty of the country. This was a reaction to and not an initiation of a trade war, which was started by the USA.

@PHSailor @GovernorHobbs Please note that in the USMCA, the same rates apply to Canada when our products are shipped over quota to the Unites States. The United States has benefitted from 0% duty on dairy into Canada as the quota allocated hasn't been completely used, and by a big margin.

@rielle_chase @MarkJCarney Please get educated. There is a quota for all countries, and the USA hasn't even used all of its quota for imports into the United States. Also do look at your own duty rates on peanuts, sugar and dairy. Your country has quotas on goods as well.

@mmorden @allexander321 @timethief Yes, two typing classes in high school. The typewriters had blank or covered up letters. Years later it paid off when I started working in an office. Taught myself to use a calculator and number keypad without looking as well. Very useful skill which should continue to be taught.
