1.) Did more with less “arms”
2.) 7-9 in the batting order were not free outs @ Florida.
3.) last 4 in, barely.500 is enough to keep a squad extra hungry after being left out of NCAAs in ‘25.

Gonna play devil advocate here. We obviously got to stop laying eggs in the post season. I completely agree. But telling our administration to take notes from a conference opponent who is going to their first ever super bc we are mad we lost is crazy. If they were doing things better than us we wouldn’t shove them in a locker every time we play. What they are doing for first time ever is something we have done twice in last 5 years. It absolutely sucks and I’m pissed we aren’t hosting them. And things got to change. But I don’t think taking notes from Troy is what we should be doing. And I’m not defending anybody I’m just as mad as y’all. But cmon guys lol 😂

@stateswan I do. Look around this list. Especially in the retention era or NC2A sports. Not everything has to be coins for play. A lot of other expenses go into making things easier on the college athlete. No coincidence you see a lot of SR’s, CWS apps, & Titles on that list.

A big chunk seemed like the fans & the impact on the game… sometimes we just don’t realize how a little organization b/t the grandstands and RFR/lounge could serve to rattle guys. We see it in the lounge all the time before a RP enters.

@LannyMixon @DanielWimberle3 Can’t rely on the HR when you don’t hit enough. A lot of 1 run games this year, dangerous way to be when you can’t string singles together, sac runners over or home, give outs away looking frequently & w/a 7 man batting order at times.

They far exceeded my expectations in ‘26.

For what I thought was certainly going to be a rebuilding year, seemed like the eyeball test vanished when poll mechanics allow you to remain up in rankings.
