I am here to promote and advocate for Freedom and Human Rights in Myanmar (Burma) and other oppressed people. I am an ethnic Karen woman originally from Yangon.
My cousin , singer Saw Poe Kwar ( Saw Alan Steele) was arrested by the Burmese military on Feb 1. We still don’t know where he is. We believe he was targeted because of his peace and anti war activism through out Burma and abroad. We demand for his release!!! #releasesawpoekwar
For decades, the Burmese military has been using rape as a weapon of war in ethnic areas, this policy is top-down, systematic and widespread. There is no accountability for military sexual crimes. Impunity allows the Burmese military to continue this policy of sexual violence.
The photos below are the support aids such as food and medical supplies for the Moe Byae IDP camp, mercilessly burned down to ashes by the military terrorists including the car transporting the supplies.

See our joint PR w/ @BankTrack & read together w/ brief. It's clear what the banks must do under the OECD Guidelines & UNGPs. Immediately divest from those companies that have direct or long-standing ties with the military & stop other payments!✊🏽https://t.co/mHbG701YL7

Karens, Kachins, Shans, Rohingyas, Chins…..who is next?. Burn down villages, rape our women, kill our children, air strikes, ..what is next?. If you think you are safe from the ruthless Tatmadaw, think again !#WhatsHappeningInMyanmar#SaveMyammar
Our ethnic minorities have been suffering the most for decades because of the junta military. Two of my Karen people stepped on a land mind set by the Myanmar military, severely injured. Let’s all remember for them and pray for them. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar#May13Coup
