@Leishman @merxplat @0xbadcode @pat @DigiEconomist Bitcoin use PoW,PoW consume energy. It’s fine. The problem is the choice of energy but not Bitcoin itself. Humans have a lot ways to solve this energy issue, like clean energy. It’s quite ridiculous to use some none sense figures in such a public speech.

@0xbadcode @pat @merxplat I think the slide meant the energy consumed in the process of PoW, because miners need to do a lot of calculations to get the right result so that they can package the block. This mining process do need cost energy.
