Round two of our PhD Student Conference was a huge success! Held this year in Melbourne at the @VicGovAg Latrobe facilities, we hosted more than 10 of our PhD students & their supervisors from around Australia who shared insights into their research which is adding value to our breeding programs 🌱🔬
@ClareEOLone giving a fab 3min pitch and showing insight into the differing protein expression across water-uptake in two differential lines @abts_2022
After many years enjoying being in the barley industry, it is great to be able to give a bit back. Here amongst a wonderfully diverse set of barley lines with 4 PhD students I am helping by co-supervising.
Our inaugural PhD Student Conference kicked off this week! We hosted 10 PhD students from around Australia + supervisors to give an insight into how their research is contributing to our breeding program & delivering grower value #IGPhDconf
Thanks to @InterGrain1 for an excellent PhD student conference. Great conversations around exciting research and practical application #plantbreeding 🌾
... and that's a wrap! Thanks to all those that made #PPG2021 a success and to all the delegates from making their way #douth to Bunbury ... votes during the closing were for Margaret River for #PPG2022, but Kalgoorlie not off the table yet 😜
