“Somewhere along the way, friendships too began absorbing the language of management. We now discuss emotional bandwidth like data plans. Even affection sometimes feels evaluated through invisible cost-benefit analysis: Who texts first? Who makes more effort?”
This is a National Emergency.
We need to dispense with the political platitudes. Prime Minister, what is your plan?
Six months ago we stood outside Downing Street after the fatal terrorist attack Heaton Park Synagogue.
Things have only got worse. More Jews attacked. Synagogues burned. More lives at risk.
What action is the Government taking?
Join us outside Downing Street tomorrow (Thursday) at 19:00, to ask the Prime Minister a simple question: What’s the plan?
We must take this to the Prime Minister’s door. He’s had plenty of time. What is he actually going to do?
I found this letter today in one of the hard drives my father left behind. The file is marked July 20, 2009. I don't know if the letter ever got to his intended readers, but I hope the people of Iran know that our family stands with them today as we did then. Praying for the safety of the protestors and for a new light to dawn in Tehran. @eliewieselfdn
To my Palestinian brothers and sisters watching Hamas hand over the bodies of Israeli hostages: recognize the sacrifices Israel is making to return its hostages, dead and alive, and realize that your government would never do the same for you.
If you dream of a life where you are valued, the first step is to free yourself from the Hamas terror regime, which will sacrifice every last one of you for its antisemitic, genocidal cause.
The author accuses Noa Argamani & Israeli society of being “twisted” and “filthy” because she had the nerve to dance after she was:
- kidnapped by a terrorist group
- held in captivity for 8 months
- subjected to inhumane treatment
- miraculously rescued despite many hostages being killed or remaining in captivity, & while 1200 of her peers on Oct. 7 were slaughtered, raped, mutilated, dismembered, & tortured for the goal of creating an oppressive Islamist state under sharia law
- returned to Israel only to have her mother die of brain cancer immediately after.
The radical fringe left fetishize oppression so much that they demand surrender to a life of shame, guilt, subjugation, self-hatred, and negativity to be considered “good” or “worthy,” punishing joy & praising self-hate.
The author says that Noa had “8 months to reflect on life,” what exactly was she expected to reflect on as an innocent young girl who was kidnapped by malignant jihadist terrorists and held in captivity? How much she hates herself for being Israeli? How much she hates herself for being a Jew?
The oppressor/oppressed paradigm they subscribe to requires Jews, by virtue of being born sinful as the “oppressor,” to attain “absolution,” a religious philosophy where the sinner is released from punishment. In their (actually twisted) view, this holy salvation occurs when the Jews hates herself, regrets her existence, and experiences only states of unconsciousness, grief, guilt, shame, and remorse.
Sorry that she didn’t she meet the standards to be in your sad club where all good things go to die. Sorry she refused to be plagued with guilt for existing.
To whoever is reading this that has miraculously survived unimaginable horrors and still grieving traumas that no human should have to endure -
Smile.
Laugh.
Dance.
Love.
Be happy.
You deserve happiness. You deserve joy. You deserve life, and please stay far, far away from anyone who makes you feel otherwise.
Noa, we love seeing you dance again, sweet girl ❤️
Brilliant article on what happens when #antisemitism enters the counselling room.
"Jews continually strive to leave tragedy at the door of wherever we perch, but somehow, no matter how hard we try, it follows us into the middle of every space."@faniaoz@hearnimator@Fathom_Editor
Now that the new Hamas footage has come out, I think back to shortly after Oct. 7 when so many compared it to a “slave uprising against slave masters.”
When in history has there been a slave uprising where older men—indoctrinated with jihadist ideologies of global domination/proliferation of political Islam and bankrolled by billionaires—took 19 year old girls captive as sex slaves? Never.
Why? Because the goal of the oppressed is liberation, but the goal of fundamentalists is domination.
Why are these exclusively women that they’re proudly parading around as captives for the world to see? Why do they want everybody to know what they did? Because sexual violence is a war tactic intentionally committed to subjugate, humiliate, embarrass, instill fear in, and dominate a population. It is psychological warfare.
That is not the language of the oppressed. That is the language of the oppressor.
If, as a society, we cannot draw the line at sexual violence against young girls committed for the purpose of psychological warfare, then as a society we have no lines at all, no values, no morals, and are vulnerable to corruption and collapse.
The line of moral clarity is so clear here, I am begging you to climb out of the fog of indoctrination and see it.
If these were women of any other nationality, the UN, human rights groups, and especially the feminist groups would have loudly and clearly condemned the crimes committed against them.
But they are Israeli woman and so the world is silent. Shame on every person who has stayed silent.
Every Jewish person I know is on edge. These stories are the tip of the iceberg: every day people are sending me instances of antisemitism in schools, universities, in their workplaces, in the streets.
We wonder where it is going to end and why people aren’t doing more to stop it.
UN Women - I will not stay silent.
This is-
UNbelievable
UNjustified
UNforgivable

The Freud Museum is seeking a new Director to replace Carol Seigel, who is retiring after 12 years. This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of London’s key small museums! https://t.co/omicAAYefa
