Peter Obi isn't the one folding his arms and watching while communities are being ravaged by Islamists.
Are you scared of addressing the person? Or it doesn't matter to you because it's not important?
Yes and no. On one hand you want to be specific, on the other you don't want to hold yourself to a promise that may not work.
In this example you may go in and realize that due to existing contracts or pricing, you may not be able to bring in operators anytime soon, then what?
"I will open BRT lane to private operators" is a clearer stance than "I will improve transportation in Lagos"
That's the level of specificity we should get from those vying for office and even public commentary. Less than 12 months to elections and nobody is specific on anything
Our numbers actually fell from 15,000 to 7,200. That's 7,800 fewer High Net Worth Individuals in just 10 years, the second largest decline among 59 countries analyzed.
Considering the economic realities we have faced over the past decade, this isn't bad for real.
Find it interesting that people who say they don't support any of the candidates in the forthcoming elections make it their raison d'etre to attack/criticise only Peter Obi consistently as though he's the one in power or he's the only opposition candidate.
We lost 2 Brig Generals, several officers and rtd generals in months.
If half of this happened in the same timeframe under GEJ, that nigga would have been hounded till he resigned sha.
Nigeria won't contain him.
Tinubu has been incompetent. Outcomes and Processes.
15/100 is still a fail mark.
Don't let them say "You people criticize too much, at least he scored 15. Which candidate can score 100"
People say this as if the counter factual to Obi is a hypothetical. It's not.
We are currently living through the application of the "depth" of wisdom of a president/party and the result has been economic devastation. Plummeting GDP per capita, runaway inflation and crippling insecurity.
A government so fiscally incompetent it's running three concurrent budgets, releasing less than 1% of the critical health budget.
It's absurd that this malevolent milieu inspires an "Obi is underwhelming" post. Well if this is the case then I don't think an English word has yet been invented to fully capture how disastrous this current administration has been. We'll have to turn to German to help; schlimmbesserung!

As many bad decisions as KD made post-GSW, Kawhi just as ridiculous. But tbh thas if we judging it off titles. Those dudes just wanted to play with their boys and isn’t that what life is about?
"Yesterday, we stepped out to protest against the worsening level of insecurity in the country. To my greatest surprise, President Tinubu and his supporters had rented a crowd of counter-protesters, the majority of whom were women with children at home."
— Falz reacts in shock after seeing counter-protesters during yesterday's protest in Lagos State.
@Phatbabeluuu Between everyone being smarter now, and some of the key accusers of govt being in govt.
This 210tn story would be believed 100% if it was in 2013.
Me I agree Obi has to play a perfect game, and maybe get God's help.. but also Nigerians have to bat for him (or whoever they want to bat for, hell if it is Sowore or Tinubu they choose, sha bat for someone)
