Another horrific day from coronavirus in Iowa:
97 more deaths (3,451 total)
147 long-term care outbreaks (up 6)
87 patients on ventilators (up 2)
1,982 new confirmed cases
Please mourn the dead, support loved ones and caregivers, and help stop the spread!
Not sure what my next move will be, if I will run again or not! But I am very excited to get work helping build the local party and statewide, so we can get better and stronger leadership at the capitol.
I am extremely grateful to the volunteers and supporters who gave their time or a few dollars and fought alongside us. I am proud of each of you, and I hope you know that our community is better for your work. (3/3)
Moments ago, I called Rep. Ann Meyer to congratulate her on her reelection.
When we began this campaign, I promised to fight for Webster County kids and families, just as I always have. (1/3)
While these results are not what we hoped for, I believe we lived up to that promise with a campaign that advocated for healthcare, public schools, and sensible policies to get the pandemic under control. (2/3)
@brianschatz Thank you for the support, Senator! These next 18 days are critical to making sure communities around the country -- including mine in Webster County, Iowa -- are well-represented.
Mayor @PeteButtigieg knows how much local elections matter to our communities. I'm honored that he's supporting me for State House. I'll fight for Webster County kids and families just like I always have.
I'm about to get started at the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance Election Forum. Looking forward to a great conversation! Follow along here: https://t.co/9nDnjbesU3

As the co-founder & executive director of a nonprofit that mentors at-risk students, @ClaytonForIowa has been putting kids’ needs first for years. He’s ready to continue supporting local youth & advocating for racial justice in the Iowa House!

As a former public school employee and public school parent, I'm very proud to have the support of the @IowaSEA. Teachers and school staff are so important to our community. You can bet I'll fight for them in Des Moines.
I would never vote to allow people to be evicted during a pandemic, I would never vote to let insurance companies deny Iowa with pre-existing conditions during a pandemic, I would never vote to not fund rural hospitals during a pandemic!
