@seba_stars Been Saying this for months, the Stars do not have the cap room to sign Robo. Either they trade his rights and get something, or he will become a UFA in a few days, and leave for free
@DStarMarkS@SlantDog@BruceLeVinePuck Technically in the offseason teams can only exceed the cap by 10%. The teams to free up about $6M, most of their tradable assets are earning at or near the league minimum, so trading them may not save a lot of money
@SlantDog@BruceLeVinePuck They have $10.6M in space, with 4 roster spots to fill. Even if they filled those other 3 roster spots with guys earning the league minimum ($850k), they would only have around $8M, which is not remotely close enough to sign him.
@NHLTradeAlert@Hockey1Stars The Stars have just $10.6M in cap space, with 4 roster spots to fill, even if they fill those other spots with players on the league minimum ($850k) they are not even close to a deal with roberston’s asking price
@eagle_patriot21 The jobs they are doing do not pay that much, the Indians are making about a 1/3 of what Americans earn for the same work. How are they able to afford a $500k home, on $30k a year with no credit history, or citizenship? Whos their lender?
@PopPop806@DLLS_Stars I live in the area, the traffic around the willow bend area is a nightmare, and it’s only getting worse, and with all the apartments going up in that area, it will be the most densely populated area in DFW. With out a mass transit solution, the commute to the arena will suck.
@Lassimak Sure you can make the math work by getting rid of some players, but that means the Stars would need to fill those roster spots with cheaper less quality players, in effect making the team worse.
@All_Things_Mavs Depends on the deal, but Dallas would need a new city haul built and operational before they could move out of the old one, probably 3 years at the very least. And that’s if the voters agree to even pay for a new city haul. It would be years before the Mavs could start building
@FoxNews But you don’t need to show a birth certificate or prove you are a citizen for any of that stuff. If you really want to federalize voting, then you need a federal ID system
