Clive Franklin

Traditional Thurleighian inbred. Reluctant cricketer, volunteer groundsman, club stalwart, pub dart player

[Thomas Sowell Quotes @ThomasSowell]

Have we reached the ultimate stage of absurdity where some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, while other people are not held responsible for what they themselves are doing today?

[Anne-Elisabeth Moutet 🇫🇷🇺🇦🇮🇷 @moutet]

So Germany delayed the start of their vaccination campaign, & ordered too few Pfizer vaccine doses, because they wanted the EU to order an equal number from France's Sanofi, WHO DO NOT HAVE A VACCINE READY?
HUGE European political scandal. People's health sacrificed to ideology.

Who's fielding at square leg for @ThurleighCC @JonathanHunt194 ?

[League Umpire @LeagueUmpire]

Got a game on Saturday. Can’t wait!! No sweaty caps to hold or jumpers to fold, no making a fool of myself dropping the ball when it’s thrown to me after a wicket and I can socially distance from the boring squareleg fielder too. What’s not to like #cricket #getthegameon

[NHS Million @NHSMillion]

If everyone who has been grateful for NHS staff over the past 72 years followed and retweeted, we would reach a million by midnight.

It will take just two seconds to do, and you can help make a real difference.
