I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of Councillor Kerry Jenkins today.

Kerry was not only an exceptional election agent and councillor, but she was a dear friend.

Her work as a local councillor for Moseley will never go unnoticed. She was respectable, approachable, and a true community leader.

Her absence will be felt not just in local government and the trade union movement, but across the community she served so wholeheartedly.

Her support for me was unwavering, and she will be truly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family, loved ones, and all who are grieving this loss.
