@ITVChannelTV There shouldn’t be an issue to just state “women and those who identify otherwise”. Trans women aren’t thick enough to book a cervical screening. They know their bodies. Research has shown that using biological terms alienates people because some don’t know what a cervix is.

@MaxandrewsJ You should also ask for the outcomes for context. Without communications, many integral public services would go under utilised. Campaigns are needed to generate positive behaviour change, such as in public health. I really don’t see the point in highlighting these figures alone.

@WRNJersey I do respect the protection of separate sex spaces but I don’t respect the conflation of safety and trans people. As I said, men will and DO attack wherever they choose. Somehow guarding toilets based on guessing genitals will never reduce that risk.

@WRNJersey Always good to debate but also good to reflect on one’s biases. I will remain in the camp that knows trans people don’t pose additional threats to safety and that real, targeted campaigns to fight for safety includes addressing the Justice System’s treatment of victims.
