#AdelajaFendiniHomesFraud is trending because Twitter NG is talking about an Oyo developer, Prince Adelaja Adeoye of Fendini Homes who was allegedly arrested for fraud. — Full Story

Apparently, his friend got a housing a contract with Oyo Government, since they’ve been working together for a while, Adelaja knew about the deal, and went behind to forge the official approval document, replaced his friend’s company which is “Privus Crest Limited” to his own company’s name “Fendini Homes”.

Unfortunately, Oyo State Investment and Public Private Partnership Agency (OYSIPA) didn’t do due diligence, perhaps due to an existing relationship., they stamped and approved his alleged forged documents.

Since 2020, they’ve tried to settle it and reach agreements, but Adeleja of Fendini Homes, has continually failed to keep to his side of the bargain, and quick to employ aggressive intimidating tactics for four years.

Seeing all these had failed, the case was tabled before the Inspector General of Police, an arrest warrant was obtained last month. Yet, Adelaja Adeoye attempted to resist arrest.

According to the report, he tried to use Amotekun and Private security to barr the police from taking him, despite a warrant, on June 14th. Before he eventually gave in.

Apparently, the property in contention is Rayfield Garden City, Alao Akala Housing Estate, Ibadan Oyo State. An innovative proposal for affordable housing solution, presented by friend, Privus, which got approved by the Government through OYSIPA. Now, Fendini is the one executing it.

So, Nigerians are calling on Seyi Makinde and the Oyo State Government to investigate even the OYSIPA, for admitting a forged document and possibly colluding to hijack the deal from the originator, Privus Crest Limited.

Consequently, the Fendini Homes CEO, Prince Adelaja Adeoye has repeatedly denied the allegations, saying it is work of mischief makers to tarnish his image.

Yet the story has continued to travel all over social media.
