A little belated, but I wanted to share that I achieved my US Soccer A License! After countless hours and the support of an incredible network of staff, colleagues, and mentors, the journey continues. Excited for what’s next! ⚽️
Coaches, wondering if you are willing to share your best team culture practices, although it's a process involving many different aspects, I am curious if any individual piece lead to an immediate change in investment, connection or association for players #culturecorner
Throughout the season, goals must always be revisited and revised as we aren’t always on track and players lose site of what they are working towards as a goal may no longer be achievable. Players may become disengaged and a revised team or individual goal can ignite them again.
Met a Liverpool legend today at Feyenoord academy! Greatest thing is Dirk Kuyt is the U19 head coach but I got this photo after he was coaching finishing and movement patterns with the U11 forwards. Top class! #Legend@Feyenoord@LFC
I watched many field sessions @UnitedCoaches Chicago Convention @LFC@SouthamptonFC@CelticFC@FFF to name a few. All successful organizations using different methodologies, ideas, restrictions. However, one constant. Coaches igniting, engaging and challenging the player! #CHI19
Great learning experience at my first national soccer convention in Chicago! I learned a lot and met some amazing coaches and people along the way! Hope to see many of them in the future. #CHI19
After 140 hours I’m very proud to have earned my USSF National C License ✅!
I met some great coaches along the way and I have a lot to take away from the course.
Thanks to @adamhowarth0627 and @mradzik71
Hazards ability to outplay and outmaneuver his opponents is a great example of how he can always play forward and impact the game for his team. Too many negative players out there. #LIVCHE#CarabaoCup
Its too quick and easy for coaches to look at the shortcomings of our players or our team and bypass looking at ourselves. The first step should always be to improve ourselves before we can look to improve our team. #TuesdayThoughts
A little Friday reminder for how we (as coaches) 'should' approach our day-to-day process within our environments. (Graphic created by collaborating notes taken from @UnitedCoaches Convention)
Interesting meeting with head strength and conditioning coach @SaintLouisFC Nathan Steinmetz who encourages us as coaches to coach the warm up as we would our session. Keep the players engaged, coach movements you'll see in practice. Don't let players run the warm up. Thoughts?
