👀 Make sure to keep an eye out for 2028 guard @patjajua_12 this weekend at Philly Live II!
The 6’3” @PSD_BoysHoops standout continues to emerge as one of the top prospects in the Class of 2028. A tough, versatile guard who can score at all three levels, create for teammates, and defend multiple positions, Patrick is a player college coaches should have on their radar.

“When you allow your children to grow up it’s a direct, direct reflection of your parenting. If you hover over them all the time and they can’t work through problems, they’re going to have some issues. You’ve got to let them work through problems because they’re working through the things you’ve instilled in them,” Dawn Staley
Let them learn.

Being a Division 1 Head Coach at the highest level comes with a lot of perks
“Fun” Job

However, what the common fan has trouble grasping is just how hard it is to be a good parent, spouse, sibling, and friend
It consumes you
OH MY - Pat Kelsey does it again and again
This is NASTY action that gets one of the best shooters in the nation a WIDE open shot

THE BEST SHOOTER WE SAW IN 2025 was @JackDon3323 of @NJShoreshotBoys, but this shooter comes with a story. After lighting up the GymRat CHALLENGE with games of 33 of 27 while shooting over 60% from behind the arc, the 6'7" sniper tallied offers from @lasallembball , @SienaMBB , @PennMBB , @hupirates_mbb and @UAlbanyMBB as well as an invite to @UnderArmour's prestigious Future 60 Camp that features the best prospects from the @UANextBHoops circuit. However, plans changed quickly after Donohue experienced chest pains following a workout and was diagnosed with an anomalous right coronary artery (ARCA), a condition that causes the critical artery to get compressed during exercise, leading to symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, fainting, or even sudden cardiac death which doctor's told Donohue's family was a very real possibility had he not listened to his body and sought medical attention. Successful open-heart surgery followed that ended Donohue's 2025 basketball season, but more importantly, corrected the problem and dramatically increased blood flow to his heart making him stronger than he was pre-surgery and allowing him to join powerhouse @newman_hoops. With a return to full-contact basketball just around the corner, here's what the GymRat Evaluation Staff published about the class of 2027 prospect in the June GymRat REPORT: "Jack Donohue (24), 6-7 Forward, NJ Shoreshots UAA 16U: A long and skilled wing who is quite simply the best pure long-range shooter that we’ve seen all summer, including the GymRat LIVE invitational events At a legit 6’7”, Donohue is capable of easily shooting over defenders, but it’s the combination of size with a high, smooth, and quick release that separates him as an elite shooter with highly confident range from 25 feet. Went for 33 on 9-14 shooting behind the arc in Pool Play game #2. Most comfortable off the catch, but also adept at making overly aggressive defenders pay with a repeatable pump fake, side or back step dribble to get re-positioned and finish beyond the arc. Improved ball handling and focus on leverage will increase offensive variety. Currently holds an offer from LaSalle with interest from Siena. Penn, Hampton, and Albany."
