New trainers: your first 10 clients are more likely to come from conversations than content.
Coach well. Talk to people. Follow up. Become the mayor of your gym.
A client saying “I want to lose 15 pounds” is usually the start of the conversation, not the end.
Ask why that goal matters, why now, and what is really driving it. That’s where the real coaching conversation starts.
HARD TRUTH: You get into the fitness industry because you are obsessed with working out.
BUT 👉🏼 in order to make great money with and be successful your own workouts will often have to take a backseat.
"You have one body.
Taking care of it is the most important thing you must do.
Nothing you can buy matters if your body fails.
For that reason, the best investment to make is into your own health and fitness.
Pinch pennies elsewhere." - @itscoachgoodman
Day 2 of #PTcon22 closed with Lee Boyce and Melody Schoenfeld's talk on How to Optimize Lifts for Different Body Types. It was a great day of learning with other sessions from Donny Bigham @onetimepowerlifting, Tatiana Lampa @Training_with_T, and Joe Drake @coachjoedrake!
