@kurt13warner I coach a lot of younger QB's, and they always struggle learning how to drop with a cross over.
Do you find this easier to coach throwing to the QB's dominant arm side? I spend a lot of time teaching the QB to align their foot on the last step and waiting before separating.
@ThadWells We did something similar and ran this the week before a big game. The QB could (1) throw the now, (2) run, or (3) throw the slant. We were 4/4 on the year when we called it with 60 yds and a TD.
I love the idea of lining up wherever you want to make it more fun.
@kurt13warner Couldn't agree more!
We started the season 0-2 with a frustrated QB who had 4 interceptions and 0 touchdowns.
I changed from what I wanted to do to what our QB could do.
Now we are 4-1 with 10 TDs and 0 INTs and one game with over 300 yards.
UNI FIGHT!!!
