As the season starts.....just a friendly reminder

On any given play there can only be:
1) 1 Solo Tackle given to 1 player
2) 2 Assisted Tackles given to 2 different players.

There are no other options!!! You can't give a 1 solo and 1 (or multiple) assists on the same play.

X is a stupid way to label a receiver… it’s maybe the hardest letter to use to name things- like formation tags, motions, etc.

@stanbedwell @CoachBKPowell Thank you- it’s helped my kids a bunch over the years- (I do it for some runs also-without RBs- and you’d be amazed how they learn to reach block the next man!)

@CoachBKPowell @stanbedwell Coach, I’ve taught vertical set for years, aside from drift set, the other way I’ve found to help is to have a pass pro period (w/out QBs) where the kids have exaggerated splits (4 or more yards)— it forces them to learn how hard to work to cut off the inside rush.
