What ruined high school recruiting isn’t the transfer portal or NIL, it’s the snake oil that 247Sports, Rivals, & On3 have managed to fool y’all into believing it’s the gospel for recruiting. The sheer number of people who believe the only way to determine a player’s value is by stars is wild.
A 30 For 30 should be done on how those brands built a matrix and managed to plug everyone into it without the masses realizing. Kudos to them for building their brands, but shame on y’all for being fooled by it.

THE BILL HAS DROPPED!
This is historic for every coach in Florida 🌴
For the first time, a bill finally gives school districts full authority to pay coaches what they deserve. No more outdated rules. No more limits. And very loud for the people in the back: unions will no longer control athletic stipends 🚫🗣️
The power goes directly back to the districts and the communities that know their coaches best.
This bill is going to elevate the entire state:
• Competitive compensation from Pensacola to Miami
• Stronger hiring and retention of elite coaches
• More stability for programs and student athletes
• Freedom for districts to use salaries, hourly rates, bonuses, and incentives
• Real pay for real work
This bill opens the door for real wages, real recognition, and real hope for the men and women who build our student-athletes every single day.
This is the future @PayFLCoaches has fought for. This is the future coaches deserve. Florida just stepped into a new era.
Thank you @csime90, @AdamAndersonFL, @RonDeSantis for standing up for our high school coaches in Florida 💥

This is a scientific finding that EVERYONE needs to understand...
The Pygmalion Effect is a behavioral phenomenon in which the level of expectations placed on a subject impact their level of performance:
High expectations lead to high performance.
Low expectations lead to low performance.
The core idea is simple:
Those who have high expectations placed on them are more likely to internalize these expectations and improve their performance accordingly.
Those who have low expectations placed on them are more likely to internalize these expectations and weaken their performance accordingly.
You’ve probably experienced the phenomenon in your own life. When we are aware of someone’s high expectations, we want to rise to the occasion and prove those expectations were well-founded.
This is scientific evidence for the impact that surrounding yourself with great people can have on your life.
You will rise accordingly!
Lesson: Expectations can create reality.

A significant hire: the Washington Commanders are naming former longtime NFL executive Dave Gardi as the team’s senior vice president of football initiatives, per sources.
Gardi now will handle assorted in-game management duties, and will support the coaching staff and front office on compliance with league protocols, officiating trends, and health and safety guidelines.
Everyone loves to talk, but very few actually do:
Everyone loves to talk about consistency, but very few are actually consistent.
Everyone loves to talk about hard work, but very few actually work hard.
Make sure you know the difference: Trust in evidence, not words.
Growing and giving back to the game of football at every level is what we believe in here at Riddell.
With a hand from @CoachPolo_, plus @michaelstrahan to deliver the surprise, we’re proud to support @CardinalHayesFB. Best of luck this season 💪
In addition to Raheem Morris deserving a second chance to become a head coach, his biggest advocates were the multiple ones within the Rams’ organization, who consistently pushed and validated his candidacy.
