@TxBallCoach40 The timing system or the wind advantage? I know in West Texas the wind can kick up pretty high just like it can everywhere. But if you a wind gage and let legal wind times that could fix the problems.

Now that regional track meets are over, here comes my yearly rant. We have to find a way to get the fastest times or farthest marks to the state track meet. My thought is make the state meet prelims and finals. Top 2 from regional meet and next 10 best marks go. Thoughts?

@TxBallCoach40 Trust me I know!! But I think track is the one true sport that can take human opinion out of the equation. Depending on the weather, a time is a time. Your already going to regional sites for track, so lets use those places to qualify for the state meet.
