My heart is so full! The day after my high school team completes their season with a tough loss in the regional semi-finals, they come out and support my 4 year old son at his U-5 game.
When you ask me why I coach? This is my why.

This week in MES PE the kiddos are learning about bowling! Love this game and it worked great when I had to have two classes in PE together.
-you hit the pin you move it up to the next spot, other team hits the pin they move it up.
-chose 4 different color sharks (one of each color of the parachute)
-the sharks will be swimming under the parachute and will choose a “swimmer” that is around the parachute that is the SAME color as them
-the swimmer will get pulled under the parachute and will be the new shark
During PE this week with kindergarten and 1st grade they have been doing parachute activities! What is your favorite parachute activity? #PhysEd@thepespecialist
My students LOVE Shark Attack! 🦈
(Rules to follow)
CONT.
If a student catches a ball, they get to run around the basketball court and have one throw at the ship. (They love this part)
-really encourages catching the ball
Equipment:
-34 pins
-talk mats
-lots of balls to throw (dodgeballs, yarnballs, ext.)
Throwing and Catching Game: Life size Battleship! #PhysEd
RULES:
-2 Teams
-Must throw from behind the throwing line
-Each team has 5 ships, like Battleship
-You may guard your ships
-Throw over the wall to try and knock down the bowling pins (sink the ships) on the other side.
Soccer season #2 in the books for coaching little league soccer! U5 is no joke. Some advice?
1.) Be sure to know all the kiddos names because you are going today them A LOT!
2.) Red Light is a key word in getting them to STOP when the ball goes out of bounds.

When my two worlds collide! The @MHSladytigerSOC were our Homeroom Heroes this morning at MES! Loved having my team in the building spending time with the students! @MurraySchools
This week has been a beautiful week outside for PE class! The book fair took over the gym so we continued our PE classes outside under the shade trees! Couldn’t have asked for a better week teaching all of the students about throwing and catching a frisbee! @MurraySchools
