@objectivepotato@kylebarr@JennyENicholson If you are insistant on making everything equal it doesnt change the number of characters.
For example. 1M 2W is 3 characters. If you make that ratio equal it becomes 2M 2W for a total of 4 characters. Which is more than 3. My math seems ok, but admittedly im no mathematician.
@Cunobaros @kylebarr@JennyENicholson Of course your scenarios all work and may even work to acclaim, but my question is why?
Why is gender such an important topic for everyone?
Who cares as long as the story doesn't suffer. At the end of the day the story is what matters.
I dont find myself talliying characters.
@tinnyzaz I dont believe characters are just men. Not one bit.
I just dont think the ratio has to be equal in every story. I just think that is a silly assumption.
A story with all women could be just as good as a story with all men. The ratio game is pointless.
@Moggett3 @kylebarr@JennyENicholson No, are you saying stories are incapable of being good unless all of the character groups equal each other.
Of course a story with an exact ratio of men and women COULD be good.
I just think its pointless to add characters who do nothing just to fill some perceived hole.
@kylebarr@JennyENicholson Would that help push stories forward? That would be my question. Having too many characters running around with nothing to do for the sake of equal numbers seems backwards. Almost more insulting.
@JaniceDean Unless Im misreading his comments, Im not seeing anything particularly crazy or disingenuous. If anything it seemed open and honest. Sometimes marriage doesnt work. Sometimes its not great.
@bjbyrne@Christo09665700@jennspoleti@JaniceDean That makes no sense. As a media outlet its your responsibility to minimize bias and just focus (as much as you can) on the actual facts and circumstances of the case. You have to be impartial in order to accomplish this. Which you cannot do with a bias.
@bjbyrne@Christo09665700@jennspoleti@JaniceDean This chart seemed ok until I saw CNN. It should be ranked the exact space Fox is. Also New York Times is wayyyyy off too. They are incredibly biased and post inaccurate information all the time.
@alainysaur @Nwi_veloN @BruskyProd @samriegel Weak argument. No one asked for ANYONE to be there. They were all inviting trouble. No one had to die if EVERYONE stayed home. π
@gbyvr_ @KAG4US @JackPosobiec Because its obviously lower quality. Its not anything he could get away with. Of course it would be objected to. He cant say "they both seem right to me" like he wants to.
@CarliPiersonEsq Im confused.
People can know weapons but not ammo. Its irresponsible and kind of ridiculous to not do your research as a owner...
I dont understand your tweet here.
You know how to drive a car I am sure, but I doubt you could tell me all the components of the engine.
@CarliPiersonEsq@usatodayopinion I do think this is a highly biased, definitely one sided piece, however I understand what an opinion piece is so no real issues here. If people don't like it they dont have to consume it. π€·ββοΈ
@OccupyDemocrats I believe we are focusing too much on the "spying" aspect and not really enough on the what was uncovered aspect. Thats just my take though.
