WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO QUESTION PEOPLE LIKE THIS?

Are you a legal authority appointed to decide who is operating legally or illegally in the financial sector? Who gave you the right to act like the judge and jury of an entire industry?

This is not accountability. This is public bullying disguised as financial awareness, and the obsession with creating sensational videos at someone else’s expense is getting out of hand.

If you genuinely suspect someone of wrongdoing, approach the appropriate authorities with evidence. Let the law take its course and allow the concerned person to present their side. Why turn someone’s ITR, financial activities, and professional credibility into public entertainment?

Let’s be honest. Controversy gets views, and dragging someone’s name generates engagement. But since when did chasing views give anyone the authority to publicly put another person’s integrity on trial?

YOU ARE A CONTENT CREATOR, NOT A COURT OF LAW.

I know exactly how ugly this behaviour can get because I’ve experienced it myself during my Twitter journey. People called my account a catfish, accused me of editing my MTM screenshots, and even stooped so low as to comment on the prices of my clothes.

And these weren’t just anonymous trolls. Some were fellow influencers. In my experience, some of this behaviour appeared to stem from jealousy over my engagement and growth.

I survived it because I’ve developed thick skin. I can handle criticism and stand up for myself. But not everyone has the same emotional resilience, and you have absolutely no idea how deeply your public accusations can affect someone else.

It takes years of consistency, hard work, and perseverance to build a personal brand and reach a million followers. There is a human being behind that achievement—someone with ambitions, responsibilities, and dreams that deserve basic respect.

And that young man has lost his life. It is heartbreaking.

I won’t pretend to know every circumstance surrounding this tragedy, but it should make everyone in this industry reflect seriously on the consequences of public shaming. If your conduct has contributed to someone’s suffering, the least you can do is introspect and show genuine remorse instead of treating everything as another opportunity for engagement.

A HUMAN LIFE IS NOT THE PRICE YOU GET TO PAY FOR YOUR VIEWS.

Nobody is above the law, and legitimate concerns should absolutely be reported. But there is a massive difference between raising a genuine concern through the proper channels and turning someone’s life into a public spectacle for clicks.

To every influencer who thinks tearing others down is a shortcut to success: build something of your own first. Create valuable content, earn your audience, and establish your credibility through your own work.

That young man had dreams and a future ahead of him. His loss is a devastating reminder that real people exist behind every username.

ACCOUNTABILITY MATTERS. SO DO DIGNITY, DUE PROCESS, AND HUMANITY.

Before you publish another sensational video about someone’s life, ask yourself one question: is this genuinely about protecting people, or are you simply profiting from someone else’s humiliation?

Because if your growth depends on destroying someone else’s reputation, perhaps it’s time to question your own values.

கழக ஆட்சியின் கடந்த 2025–26 நிதிநிலை அறிக்கையில் மூலதனச் செலவினங்களுக்கு ரூ.57,231 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டது. அதில் CAG-இன் தற்காலிக மாதாந்திரக் கணக்குகளின்படி, 2025 ஏப்ரல்–செப்டம்பர் காலத்தில் ரூ.13,002.22 கோடி அளவிற்கு மெட்ரோ ரயில் உள்ளிட்ட திட்டங்களுக்கான மூலதனச் செலவு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. தவெக அரசு, இந்த நிதி ஆண்டில் மூலதன செலவுகளுக்காக ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட மொத்த நிதியில், அதே ஏப்ரல்- செப்டம்பர் மாத காலகட்டத்தில் மேற்கொண்ட மூலதனச் செலவு எவ்வளவு? புதிய உள்கட்டமைப்புத் திட்டங்களுக்குச் செலவிட்டது எவ்வளவு? திமுக ஆட்சியில் தொடங்கப்பட்டு செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு வரும் திட்டப்பணிகளுக்கு இன்னும் தவெக அரசால் வழங்கப்படாமல் நிலுவையில் உள்ள தொகை எவ்வளவு? இந்த விவரங்களை எல்லாம் அரசு வெளியிடுமா?

வளர்ச்சிப் பணிகளைத் தாமதப்படுத்தியும், செய்து முடிக்கப்பட்ட பணிகளுக்கான தொகைகளை வழங்காமலும், பண இருப்பை அதிகமாகக் காட்டி, குறைந்த அளவே கடன் வாங்கிவிட்டு, அதனை நிதி மேலாண்மையின் சாதனையாகக் கூற முடியுமா? வழங்க வேண்டிய தொகைகளை நிலுவையில் வைத்திருப்பது சேமிப்பாகிவிடுமா?

முதல் அரையாண்டில் கடன் குறைந்ததாகக் கூறும் தவெக அரசு, அக்டோபர்–டிசம்பர் காலாண்டில் மட்டும் ரூ.48,000 கோடி கடன் பெறத் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது. இது முந்தைய காலாண்டில் திரட்டிய ரூ.23,500 கோடியைவிட இரு மடங்குக்கும் அதிகமல்லவா?

த.வெ.க. அரசின் வரவு செலவுத் திட்டத்தில் உத்தேசிக்கப்பட்டதை விட, குறைந்த அளவிலேயே அரசின் வருவாய் இருந்து வரும் நிலையில், முதலீட்டுச் செலவுகளை மேற்கொள்ள முடியாமல் இந்த அரசு திணறுவதால் மட்டுமே கடன் தேவை குறைந்துள்ளது. பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பிலான ஒப்பந்த புள்ளிகள் இரத்து செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன. வளர்ச்சிப் பணிகளை மேற்கொள்ளாதால் சாலைகள் மோசமாக உள்ளன. கட்டிடப் பணிகள் பாதியில் நிற்கின்றன. ஆயிரக்கணக்கானவர்கள் வேலை இழந்து நிற்கின்றனர். எனவே, இதனை தங்களின் சாதனை எனச் சொல்லி மக்களை ஏமாற்றுவதை விட்டுவிட்டு, மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட மூலதனச் செலவு, செய்து முடிக்கப்பட்ட பணிகளுக்கு இன்னும் விடுவிக்கப்படாமல் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நிலுவைத் தொகை ஆகியவற்றின் முழு விவரங்களையும் வெளியிட்டு, தவெக அரசு மக்களுக்குப் பதிலளிக்க வேண்டும்.
